The “Invisible Bag” from pxurbanwear looks like a vintage backpack straight from the 1980’s. It’s such a simple looking bag, with futuristic features.
If you watch the video near the bottom, you will see that the most impressive feature of this backpack, is that it can hold a ton of items at once!
You can’t tell how well the backpack is put together just from looking at it. But it has a ton of subtle pockets, that will make it easy to carry everything you need for one day.

Who Is The Invisible Bag For

You won’t find a clear description on pxurbanWear’s website, but this backpack can be used by both men and women. If you are the type of person that likes to take your workout clothes to work, and you want to be able to fit in your laptop as well, this is the backpack for you. The two compartments seperate so you can fit your shoes in one (if you want to carry them), and your laptop in another. Excellent functionality for day to day use, with easy accessibility.

Features I love About The Invisible Bag

  • European Style

This bag is made in Europe. So it has a European style about it. If you have ever been to Europe, this would be a prototypical European backpack.

  • Lightweight

This backpack alone is only 1.7 pounds! That is amazingly light for a pretty good size backpack. This allows you to fit a ton inside, and still not be carrying a ton of weight.

  • Denier

The Invisible Backpack has the right amount of Denier. It is a mix of Nylon and Polyester, and so 800X600D is going to make the fabric a little stronger, which means the backpack will last longer most likely.

  • Subtle Pockets

Arguably the most impressive feature about this design from is the subtle pockets. My words can’t do it justice, so check out the video below, for a quick demonstration of the variety of pockets to store everything in.

  • Water Bottle Pocket

The Invisible Bag is going to give you enough room in the water bottle pocket to actually be able to fit a good size water bottle. Some backpacks say that and then you can only fit a bottled water. This will fit a full size water bottle.

  • YKK zippers and Buckles

This is usually one of the overlooked aspects of buying a vintage backpack. But it is actually one of the most important features to look into. Thank God The Invisible Bag uses YKK zippers. YKK zippers are manufactured in Japan and are one of the more expensive zippers to use, but also the most durable. Which means you will get to use those subtle pockets longer than you would with average zippers.

  • Overall Functionality

I like the fact that this backpack is focused on functionality. I think it has great style as well, but the functionality is what makes it worth it. All of the pockets have easy access, and the Invisible Bag is comfortable.

Cons Of The Invisible Bag

    • Expesnive

Pretty expensive backpack. If you are going to make a purchase on this design, make sure that you take care of it well, so it lasts for a long time.

    • Lack Of Color Options

Most backpacks have a variety of colors you can choose from, but not this company. They stick to the all black. I think it looks great, but some people would like additional color options

    • Not A Brand You Are Probably Familiar With

I completely understand if this is an issue for you. You want a brand you can trust. This company is in Lithuania, and you would have to make an international purchase with possible import taxes.

Final Verdict

If it wasn’t for the price, I would imagine that many people would be going straight to pxurbanWear and buying this vintage style backpack. I really do like the backpack and the impressive subtle pockets, but I personally wouldn’t spend the money on the backpack. You can find many other backpacks that are a lot less than the Invisible Bag, that are going to be just as functional.
If you aren’t worried about the price, and just want a very functional backpack for your everyday use, then I say go for it! It is a very impressive vintage backpack overall.
